"It is the mission of the Hempstead Police Department's Training Division to provide quality training with the explicit goal of cultivating officer knowledge, promoting public safety and advancing the professional development of its members and surrounding agencies. Moreover, the Training Department seeks to build partnerships with members of the community to ensure that the courses offered are specifically designed and carefully tailored to build meaningful and effective curriculums that improve the quality of service provided to them by police."
 

All training will be conducted at the designated location and the training rules can be found here. Fees, if any, will be collected the day of the first class.
