POLICE OFFICER - INFORMATION
DATE: March 10
STARTING SALARY: D.O.Q.
NATURE OF WORK: Generalized law enforcement and public safety work in the prevention of
crime, protection of life and property, and apprehension of criminal offenders.
HOURS: Various shifts.
WORK LOCATION: Hempstead Police Department
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited high school or a G.E.D. equivalency diploma
REQUIREMENTS: - Graduation from a police academy
- TCOLE certified basic peace officer license
- Valid Texas Driver's License with good driving record
