POLICE OFFICER - RESERVE

STARTING SALARY:           Not applicable

                       

NATURE OF WORK:           Generalized law enforcement and public safety work in the prevention of crime, protection of life

and property, and apprehension of criminal offenders.

 

HOURS:                                 16 Hours per Month; Or as required by the Chief of Police.

 

WORK LOCATION:              Hempstead Police Department

                                                                        1015 11^th Street, Hempstead, TX  77445

 

EDUCATION:                        Graduation from an accredited high school or a G.E.D. equivalency diploma with 12 hours of

college.

 

REQUIREMENTS:                -    Graduation from a police academy

-          TCLEOSE certified basic peace officer license

-          Valid Texas Driver’s License with good driving record.

 

CLOSING DATE:                  Open until filled.
